FACEOFF ON THE LAKE

CIHC Families, we have a wonderful opportunity to attend the outdoor OSU vs Michigan men's ice hockey game in Cleveland Browns stadium on Feb. 18, 2023 at 4 pm.  There are no practices or games that weekend (President's Weekend).  We have received a very generous offer from an anonymous sponsor who is buying each CIHC 2022/23 player that would like to go a ticket!  There is a LIMITED amount of tickets for this game. The tickets that have been secured are $45 per ticket.  The sponsor is also discounting each additional family ticket so the cost is $16 per ticket!  Below is the link to purchase your family tickets, if you have any questions please ask coach Chris or coach John for more information at practice today, There are no games or practices this Saturday/Sunday MLK weekend either.

UPCOMING CIHC opportunities in February and March

Happy New Years to the entire CIHC Hockey Program Families!  We have some exciting opportunities coming up in February and March that we wanted to make sure to get out to the teams and their families.  First we have our Blind Hockey Team getting their first ever intermission skate at a CBJ game on Feb. 10th in celebration of Hockey Is For Everyone night.  If you would like more information please contact Coach Chris (crhoye@columbus.gov) or Coach John (jmhaferman@columbus.gov).   Second CIHC is setting up our annual trip to Detroit for our games with Clark Park Coalition, we are planning on March 3-5th, although games will be on March 4th and 5th.  The Friday night is coaches vs coaches and also have "pond hockey" worked into the schedule for players to join if they would like.  Typically this will be 7 pm to 11 pm, still waiting to confirm the times, just wanted everyone to save the weekend dates.  We have done squirts, pee wees and bantams in years past (10U, 12U and 14U).  Still waiting to see which teams Clark Park will be able to field this year.  Stay tuned, more info coming...
