Important Updates for the 2024/2025 Season

Dear CIHC Hockey Family,

I am excited for pond hockey to begin and looking forward to an amazing 2024-2025 ice hockey season. I along with our director, coaches, and staff are looking forward to continuing our mission and ensuring hockey remains for everyone.

Important Information Regarding the 2024/2025 Season! 

You may have seen recently that CIHC, in collaboration with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Blue Jackets Hockey League (CBJHL), announced a change in our 12U and 14U structure. We are SO excited for this change. We wanted to send you this message to let you all - our amazing hockey families - know that we are still going to continue to provide a safe, inclusive, diverse and encouraging environment to help develop our players. We continue to receive grants from the CBJ Foundation, USA Hockey Foundation and the NHL Foundation to help our mission and development plan.

For now - we have some exciting updates for you regarding this summer and the 2024-2025 season. Read on for pond hockey (1), parent meetings (2), and fall training information (3). 

1. Pond Hockey starts next week on Wednesday, July 10th. The cost is $15 per player for each 90 minute session. Sessions occur each Wednesday. Registration begins this coming Monday, July 8th. You must be registered to attend. The registration link can be found here: CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION!

July 10th - Wed 6:40p-8:10pm, Easton 2

July 17th - Wed 7:30p-9pm, Dublin 2

July 24th - Wed 6:40p-8:10pm, Easton 2

July 31st - Wed 7:20p-8:50p, Easton 1


2. Team meetings for parents for the 2024/2025 CIHC season: For the next 4 weeks starting next Wednesday, July 10th, coaches and CIHC Administrators will be present at all Pond Hockey sessions to discuss upcoming changes for the 2024/2025 Hockey Season. Coaches/Reps for the Girls Hockey Teams, JV High School Hockey Team, Blind Hockey Team, Squirts, Pee Wee and Bantams will all be able to answer any and all questions families will have.


3. Fall training: Girls, JV, and Bantam teams will again be split between Tuttle Park Rink on Mondays in September and October and the Thompson training/synthetic facility. The day(s) for these sessions will be discussed by each team who share the training area.
